Two Men Wanted In Sunnyside Burglary

Police are seeking help from the public to help identify and locate two men who broke into a Sunnyside apartment on July 15.

Cops said the suspects entered an apartment building near 43rd Avenue and 44th Street at about 3:30 p.m. on July 15 through the front door, and broke into an apartment where they made off with approximately $1,400 cash and $8,000 in jewelry and electronics.

The suspects were captured on surveillance footage leaving the building with the stolen goods and cash, a police source said.

The first suspect is described as a bald black man with a beard. He was wearing black Nike sneakers, a black T-shirt, and olive cargo shorts at the time of the burglary.

The second suspect is described as a black male, with long, dark hair and a beard. He was wearing blue Nike sneakers, a black T-shirt, blue denim shorts and a light-colored baseball cap at the time of the burglary.
