Hunt Suspect In Astoria Forcible Touch Attacks

Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with two forcible touching incidents in Astoria.

Officers said the suspect approached a 25-year-old woman from behind at about midnight on July 21, in front of 30-60 46th St., where he pushed her up against a car and grabbed her genitals through her clothing.

The woman screamed and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.

Police said the man struck again moments later, near Newtown Road and 45th Street, where he approached a 26-year-old woman from behind, wrapped his hands around her and grabbed her genitals through her clothing.

The woman screamed for help and the suspect fled south on 45th Street.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, 5’5” tall, with short brown hair and a slim build.

He was wearing a light blue T-shirt, black pants and black sneakers at the time of the attacks.
