Hunt Astoria, LIC Wallet Thief

Police are searching for a man who swiped wallets from two people in Long Island City and Astoria.

Cops said the suspect first struck at Uni Mas Swim Wear at 40-20 22nd Street at about 10:30 on May 31st, when he stole a 62-year-old woman’s wallet from a table.

The same man struck again at about 9:20 a.m. on June 13, when he stole a wallet from a pair of pants belonging to a 49-year-old victim at a business at 31-11 14th Street in Astoria.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5-feet, 10-inches tall and 180 pounds.

He was wearing a multicolored baseball cap, a white jogging suit and blue sneakers during each incident.
