Another Residential Hi-Rise In Dutch Kills

By Liz Goff
The owners of a parcel at 42-22 Crescent Street last week filed plans to develop a nine-story, mixed residential/commercial building at the site.

Plans call for 29 apartments and 1,400-square-feet of commercial space on the lot near the Queens Plaza transportation hub.

The 29 residential units would be developed on 21,058-square-feet of space, with average units measuring 726-square-feet.

Plans call for development of a 1,400-square-foot retail unit on the first floor, with three-to-four residential units on the upper floors. The development will also feature storage space and room for 15 bicycles in the basement. No indoor parking is included because it is hot required in the area.

A single-story warehouse currently located at the site would be demolished to make way for the new building.

The dev3eloper purchased the 4,500-square-foot parcel for $5,750m,000 in July 2015.
