98 Degrees’ Timmons Returns To Resorts World

Resorts World Casino New York City hosted a concert and meet-and-greet with Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees on the night of June 18th, in front of the Sound Booth at Bar 360, a multilevel venue that frequently showcases hip-hop, pop, reggae, rock, R&B, salsa and soul performers.

Over a thousand people saw the show, with 20 lucky VIP guests participating in the meetand greet. Timmons performed a half-hour set featuring songs from his solo career as well as 98 Degrees classics to an enthusiastic crowd dancing in the aisles.

Jeff Timmons is a founding member of the Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum R&B band, 98 Degrees. He went from a teenage heartthrob in the 1990s to a successful solo artist, music and television producer and entrepreneur. In 2002, after their world tour, the members of 98 Degrees decided to take a break, and Timmons launched his solo career by touring with Jim Brickman. Timmons wrote and arranged his first solo album, Whisper That Way, which was released in August 2004. The album reached number 20 on the adult contemporary chart. In December 2009, Timmons released his second album, Emotional High.

The members of 98 Degrees became the first white band to sign with Motown Records. Once the group’s credibility was established, Motown released videos on MTV and 98 Degrees became an overnight sensation. They have attained eight top 40 singles in the US and have sold over 10 million records worldwide.
