Seek Eyewitnesses In Deadly ‘Flip Crash’

By Liz Goff
Police are seeking help from the public to determine the cause of a horrific accident that killed two people in Corona on June 13.

Cops said the two victims were killed when the car they were riding in flipped off the 111th Street exit on the Grand Central Parkway at about 8:45 a.m. on June 13.

The white, four-door sedan crashed into a guardrail near Astoria and Ditmars Boulevards, flipped and landed upside-down in a patch of trees next to the Grand Central Parkway, police said.

The unidentified driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
