Police are searching for a man and woman who pulled off an armed robbery on an Astoria sidewalk on May 22.

Cops said the 28-year-old male victim was walking near 27th Avenue at about midnight on May 22 when the suspects flashed a weapon, stole his wallet and iPhone and ran from the scene.

The suspects showed up at a Trade Fair Supermarket on 30th Avenue near 30th Street a short while later, where they unsuccessfully tried to pay for some items with a stolen credit card, police said.

The man is described as a male Hispanic, 200-225 pounds. He was wearing a white Phat Farm jacket, sunglasses and a black baseball cap at the time of the robbery.

The female suspect was wearing a gray hoodie at the time of the robbery, police said.
