Forest Hills Festival Of The Arts With Pop Up New York

The Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce is holding its 16th annual Forest Hills Festival of The Arts on Sunday, June 12th, rain or shine, from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm. It will be held on Austin Street, between 69th Road and 72nd Road. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet and greet local business owners and experience all the shops, restaurants and businesses Forest Hills has to offer. After all, Forest Hills is small enough to know you and large enough to serve you!

Newly featured this year is Pop Up New York. It’s the new wave of street experience featuring artisanal and fine crafts, local designer merchandise, gourmet food booths, and world class music. There will be rides for the kids and nearly 125 of Forest Hills’ own businesses exhibiting at the fair this year.

Leslie Brown, President of The Forest Hills Chamber Of Commerce invites you to join her on 70th Road off Austin Street starting at 10:30 am for fun entertainment by Forest Hills’ own local talent. “Beginning at 1:45 pm we present world class artists,” said Brown. “Talented musician and singer Conroy Warren and the extraordinary vocalist Kaila Powerz open the festival’s afternoon concerts with fantastic Caribbean music.”

Big Daddy Bruce Wayne straight from BB King’s in NYC is back in the Hills with his powerhouse R&B, Blues and Soul band, The Soul Messengers. Bruce wows the audience every time leaving the crowds yelling for more. His show starts at 3:30 pm and again at 5:00 pm.
Leslie Brown encourages you to “Let Us Entertain You All Day Long At The Forest Hills Festival Of The Arts!”
