Cops HuntTwo Women In Steinway Street Gap Robbery

Police are searching for two women who swiped almost 100 shirts from a Steinway Street Gap store on May 14.

Cops said the women walked into the Gap Kids store at 31-02 Steinway Street at about 11:20 a.m. on May 14, where they stuffed 96 shirts and tank tops into a bag – and walked past a security guard unnoticed.

Police said the shirts were worth a combined value of $1,392.

The first suspect is described as a female Hispanic, 35-40-years-old, with dark hair. She was wearing a tan shirt, black pants and was carrying a brown purse at the time of the robbery.

A second suspect is described as a female Hispanic, 35-40-years-old, with short, dark hair. She was wearing a dark-colored jacket, blue jeans and was carrying a black and tan purse at the time of the robbery.
