Restoration Of Historic Flushing Property Starting

Restoration work is about to begin at 33-37 163rd Street in Flushing. The old Ferrigno historic Broadway-Flushing property was purchased by Dr. Kim. The architect in charge of renovations on the house is Donald Lang, AIA, Principal Architect of DLA Architecture. Lang is a historic architect and Chairman of the Newton Upper Falls Historic District Commission in Newton, Massachusetts and previously member and Chairman of the Newton Historical Commission for 10 years. He is currently working on a $4 million restoration of the Nathaniel Allen House in West Newton, an 1845 mansion that will be used as a community arts center.
