Stringer, Vallone Tour NE Queens Senior Centers

City Comptroller Scott M. Stringer joined Councilman Paul Vallone in Northeast Queens for a roundtable meeting with Community Boards 7 and 11 and several community groups. Among those groups in attendance were the Auburndale Improvement Association, the Bayside Hills Civic Association, the Korean American Associations of Queens and Greater New York and the Bayside Village BID. Prior to the meeting, Comptroller Stringer joined Councilman Vallone as they spoke to the seniors at the Clearview Self-Help Senior Center in Bayside and the HANAC Angelo Petromelis Senior Center in College Point. “It’s not every day that the City Comptroller visits Northeast Queens to speak directly with our community leaders and learn about the issues that affect us every day,” said Vallone. “The Comptroller understands the pulse of our neighborhoods and will continue to fight for a fiscally responsible government.”
