FreshDirect Employees Clean Up The Community For Earth Day

FreshDirect employees pose for a group picture before spending the afternoon cleaning up the community around their headquarters in Long Island City.   In celebration of Earth Day, FreshDirect employees spent the afternoon of April 22nd cleaning up the streets of their Long Island City neighborhood. In addition to those efforts, FreshDirect employees were encouraged to commute by public transportation instead of driving.

Positive environmental initiatives are a core part of the company’s mission.
