15-Story Residential Development In Dutch Kills

First shovels hit the ground recently in the development of a 15-story, 43-unit residential development in the Dutch Kills section of Long Island City.

The building will feature rental apartments that average 800-square-feet of space and a series of amenities including private storage spaces, storage for 25 bicycles in a cellar area, a gym and 1.131 square-feet of rooftop recreational space.

The building is located on 27th Street near 41st Avenue in Dutch Kills, two blocks from a public high school, one block from the Evangel Christian Church and one block north of the Queens Plaza transportation hub.

The project should be completed by early 2017.
