Hunt Man & Woman In Drunken Ambush Rob

By Liz Goff
A drunken man got more than he was hoping for when he brought a woman he had just met to his Elmhurst hotel room on February 22, police said.

Cops said the 45-yer-old intoxicated man met the unidentified woman just before 4:30 a.m. on February 22 and followed her to the Metro Motel on Queens Boulevard, where he rented a room for himself and his new “friend.”

When the pair entered the room, the victim spotted a man sitting inside, police said. As the victim turned toward the woman, she slashed him on the arm with an unknown object, and the two suspects grabbed $1,200 cash and his iPhone and fled the scene, police said.

The victim ran to the front desk clerk who called 911, police said. The man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center for treatment, where he was so drunk that he was unable to give police a description of either suspect, a law enforcement source said.

Police are urging anyone with information on the suspects to call the CrimeStoppers HOTLINE at 1-800-577-TIPS or click on www.nypdecrimestoppers.com.
