Cops Hunt Jogger Stab Suspect

Police are continuing their search for a man who slashed a female jogger in broad daylight on February 7.

Cops said the 19-year-old victim was jogging on 25th Avenue between 79th and 80th Streets in Jackson Heights about 11:15 a.m. on February 7th when the assailant suddenly struck.

The suspect, who may have been jogging near the victim, used an unknown object to slash an inch-long gash on her thigh as she ran past him, police said.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center for treatment of the wound she suffered in the attack.

The attacker is described as an Hispanic male who was wearing a gray hoodie at the time of the attack.
