Hunt Knife Attack Suspect

Police are seeking help from the public to identify and locate a suspect who slashed a man near the Queensbridge Houses on January 19.

Cops said the 27-year-old victim was intoxicated as he walked to a bodega near 12th Street and 40th Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. on January 19, when the suspect came from behind and sliced his torso with a knife.

The victim managed to free himself from his attacker and headed to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where doctors closed his wounds and treated him for related injuries, police said.

Law enforcement sources said the victim has refused to cooperate with police in their investigation.
