Vallone, Buery Tour Pre-K

Councilman Paul Vallone joined Deputy Mayor Richard Buery for a tour of the Pre-K for All program at PS 29 in College Point on the morning of December 23. The program there, which has been completely free for two years, has been highly successful due to strong parental involvement and maintains 100 percent enrollment. “It was incredible to see the great work being done in the Pre-K class at PS 29. The innovative curriculum, especially in math, is going a long way to engage the students and the importance of these programs is clearly evident when you see how the students respond,” said Vallone. “I’m glad that NYC Deputy Mayor Richard Buery was able to see this program first-hand and I thank Principal Leakey for giving us the tour of this wonderful school and program.” Councilman Paul Vallone joined Deputy Mayor Richard Buery for a tour of the Pre-K for All program at PS 29 in College Point on the morning of December 23.
