Jackson Heights Man Wanted In Gal Pal Beat

Police are searching for a 29-year-old Jackson Heights man who brutally beat his girlfriend at their Jackson Heights apartment on November 29.

Cops said Thomas Rivera, 29, repe3atedly pummeled the 33-year-old woman in the head and face at about 4 a.m. on November 28 at a home on 93rd Street near Roosevelt Avenue.

Police said Rivers fled the apartment immediately after the beating and is still on the loose.

Police and FDNY medics who responded to the scene found the victim suffering from severe head trauma, fire officials said.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center in critical condition, authorities said. Authorities said the victim’s condition has since stabilized and has been upgraded to critical but stable.

Police did not reveal a motive in the assault.

Rivera, who is also known as Jorge, is described as an Hispanic male, 5-feet, 6-inches tall and 220 pounds, with short, dark hair and a goatee.
