Cuomo Meets Mets Before World Series Game One

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo was in Kansas City, Missouri to cheer on the New York Mets in game one of the World Series against the Kansas City Royals. Before the game, Governor Cuomo met with Mets Manager Terry Collins, pitcher Matt Harvey, and one of the team owners, Jeffrey Wilpon, and offered his encouragement. Earlier that day, the Governor also announced that the lights on One World Trade Center’s 408-foot spire were lighting up in the Mets’ colors that night to support the team.
