The Second Annual Ridgewood Seneca Avenue Stroll

The Ridgewood Seneca Avenue Stroll took place on Saturday, October 24 from noon to 5 pm on Seneca Avenue between Myrtle Avenue and Catalpa Avenue. A sampling of the second annual stroll’s sweet and savory treats were provided by Ridgewood Eats, celebrating their 10th anniversary on Seneca Avenue, Rudy’s Bakery and Café, Nepalese Indian Restaurant, and Zum Stammtisch and Stammtisch Pork Store.

To celebrate Oktoberfest, the event included beer tasting from Finback Brewery, Queens Ridgewood Eats provided food for the Seneca Avenue Stroll.

Rudy’s Bakery and Café provided complimentary hot cocoa and cookies.
Rudy’s Bakery and Café provided complimentary hot cocoa and cookies. Also supporting the event were Queens Library Bookmobile by the Friends of the Ridgewood Library. Myrtle Avenue BID provided a free Halloween Activity Fun Pack, while Rudy’s Bakery and Café gave away hot cocoa and cookies.

The Seneca Avenue Stroll was sponsored by The Myrtle Avenue Bid and The city Department of Transportation.

As an extra celebratory side-bar, Nelson from Queens Brewery advised the Queens Gazette that he will be providing beer at Citi Field during the World Series. Needless to say, Let’s Go Mets!
