Deadly Queens Bridge Jump

By Liz Goff
The body of a 54-year-old man who jumped to his death from the Queens side of the RFK-Triborough Bridge on September 18 has been found, washed up on a rocky embankment two miles away, police said.

Cops said the man jumped from the bridge at a site between Queens and Wards Island at about 5:30 p.m. on September 18.

First responders found the body a short while later, floating near an embankment near the Willis Avenue Bridge, which connects the Bronx and Harlem, police said.

The man, whose name has not been released, was declared dead on arrival at Lincoln Hospital, authorities said.
