Resorts World To Host Five Alarm FDNY Chili Cook-Off

Resorts World Casino New York City is hosting a special Five Alarm FDNY Chili Cook-Off as part of its Employee Appreciation Day festivities on July 1, 2015 on the deck of the Central Park Event Space.

The cook-off, which will be hosted by Ray Cooney, host of PBS’s Firehouse Kitchen, will feature chili dishes prepared by some of New York’s Bravest. Firehouses from each of the five boroughs will submit their best chili dish to be judged by guest judge Jeff Baruch, Executive Chef of London Lennie’s, the premier seafood restaurant in Queens. Resorts World will also make a donation to Friends of Firefighters, a non-profit organization that provides long-term support and services to firefighters and their families.

"This event is a great way for Resorts World to show our appreciation for our outstanding employees, as well as the brave men and women of the New York City Fire Department,” said Ryan Eller, President of Resorts World Casino New York City. “It is going to be a fantastic day of fun and delicious food, and I look forward to tasting the winning dish!”

The event is closed to the public. For more information and interview requests, please contact Nell O’Connor at noconnor@mercuryllc.com.
