Braunstein Announces Mother’s Day Essay Winners

Braunstein (D-Bayside) announced the winners of his Mother’s Day Essay & Poetry Contest for students in grades two through five:
• Second Grade Grand Prize: Francesca Argenzio, who attends St. Mel’s School in Flushing.

• Third Grade Grand Prize: Anthony Ng, who attends PS 94: David D. Porter School in Little Neck.

• Fourth Grade Grand Prize: Ethan Wu, who attends PS 94: David D. Porter School in Little Neck.

• Fifth Grade Grand Prize: Christian Silvestri, who attends Sacred Heart School in Bayside.

“Congratulations to all of the winners. Nearly 450 students from schools in Queens participated in my Mother’s Day Essay & Poetry Contest and I was extremely impressed with their creative and heartfelt entries,” said Assemblyman Braunstein.

All winners received a New York State Assembly Certificate of Merit, as well as a Barnes and Noble gift card.
