By Liz Goff
Police last week arrested a reputed gang member in the shooting death of a 31-year-old Corona man.

NYPD officials said police at the 110th Precinct arrested Raul Zamora on May 16 – approximately one week after investigators identified Zamora as the gunman in the May 5, daylight murder of Jorge Manzanarez, 38.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyd said Zamora, a reputed member of the “Supre,e 13” street gang, was standing with two other individuals at about 2:22 p.m. on May 5 when he shot Manzanarez during a dispute outside 93-12 Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights.

Zamora was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon at his arraignment at Queens Criminal Court, where he was held without bail.

Zamora is facing 25 years to life in prison, if convicted.
