Queensboro Symphony Orchestra Makes Grand Debut

AntosThe newly-formed Queensboro Symphony Orchestra performed their debut concert on March 22 at the beautiful Mary’s Nativity Church, 46-02 Parsons Boulevard in Flushing. The orchestra, led by acclaimed Maestro Dong-Hyun Kim, performed such classics as Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with virtuoso, Jie Hyue Kim. Also featured were original works by composer and Queens resident, Paul Joseph, celebrating the coming of spring with “First Tears of Spring” and “Cry of a Butterfly.” More than 300 were in attendance for the debut concert event. An encore concert will be held, free of charge, at the same church on April 26.
