Cops Nab Suspect In LIC Club Shootout

Police last week arrested a 23-year-old Queens man in connection with a gunfight outside a Long Island City nightclub on October 19.

Traevon Robinson was charged with weapons possession, four counts of felony assault and three counts of reckless endangerment in connection with the shootout outside Club Allure at about 10;45 p.m. on October 19, police said.

Police said the gunfire resulted in multiple injuries, including a 57-year-old man who was shot in the chest, a 19-year-old woman who was struck in the leg and two men, ages 23 and 25, who were both shot in the leg.

The victims were taken to local hospitals where they recovered from their injuries, police said.

Police are still searching for another gunman who traded fire with Robinson in the shootout and are urging anyone with information to call the Crime Stoppers HOTLINE at 1-800-577-TIPS or click on www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.

The HOTLINE is offering a $2,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
