Woman Robbed In Astoria Laundromat

Police are searching for a brazen thief who robbed a 35-year-old woman inside an Astoria Laundromat on January 21.

Cops said the woman was inside the Laundromat at 23-11 21st Avenue at about 10:30 a.m. on January 21 whe3n the suspect walked in, threatened her and forced her to hand over her cell phone, notepad and credit card.

The man fled in an unknown direction, police said. The woman was not hurt in the robbery.

Police last week released a surveillance photo (see photo) of the suspect, described as a male black, 25-years-old, 6-feet-tall and 150 pounds.

The Hotline is offering a $2,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
