“I am honored and excited to begin my second term in Congress,” said Meng. “I thank my constituents for again giving me the privilege of being their voice in Washington, and I will continue to work tirelessly on their behalf.”

Although January 6 was the official start of the 114th Congress, Meng was sworn in Wednesday, since she was in New York on Tuesday for the funeral of former Governor Mario Cuomo.
