The spacious dining room allows for dining for two as well as for large groups of families and friends. Pay just one low price for the lavish buffet and everyone gets to enjoy their favorite items. From Monday to Thursday, the Dinner Buffet costs $13.99 for adults (Lunch $8.49) and $14.99 Friday to Sunday. Soft drinks, beer and wine are extra, but very reasonably priced.

Where to begin? That’s up to you. The fresh salad bar is a nice place to start, brimming with fresh cuts of veggies and salad. I went straight for the dumplings and straw baskets of dim sum, filled with seasoned pork, shrimp and vegetables with dipping sauce on the side. Crispy spring rolls, egg rolls, baby back ribs, roast pork and chicken wings make for good starters too. Vats of steaming egg drop soup, hot and sour soup and won ton soup are there for the ladling.

Next, there are so many varieties of chicken and pork dishes, evened out by lots of vegetable, rice and noodle dishes. Pan fried pork chops are tender and juicy, while pork Teriyaki has a touch of sweetness from the sauce. General Tso’s chicken is sweet and sour while the barbecue chicken is so tender it falls off the bone. I scooped up vegetable lo mein noodles and lots of steamed broccoli and freshly sautéed green beans to go with my hibachi chicken. There are also skewers of chicken and pork, if you like to keep things simple.

Seafood reigns at New Grand Buffet with an eye dazzling array of fresh fish and seafood. A whole baked fish was cut into pieces and kept warm, while the salt and pepper shrimp nearby are great for peeling and eating. The baked salmon was fresh and tasty with its garlicky sauce. Spicy sautéed baby octopus was flavorful and you’ll like the baby clams cooked in black bean sauce too, spooned over rice. An impressive raw bar boasts clams, oysters, and freshly made sushi and sashimi for the taking. One of the stars of the New Grand Buffet is the Stone Crabs and King Crab legs. Crack open these crustaceans and you’ll find sweet, tender meat inside. Dip it into cocktail sauce, sprinkle with lemon, or just dive in to them. All the platters at New Grand Buffet are replenished continually to ensure freshness.

If you prefer a sit-down meal, the chefs at New Grand Buffet will prepare a la carte dishes for you from the extensive menu. There’s a great lunch combination plate special for just $4.75 that comes with an entrée, white or fried rice, egg roll and a soda. Deliveries are available too, and they’ll happily cater to your home or office. For dessert, you’ll have a hard time choosing among the tempting cakes, puddings and cookies available. There’s creamy cheesecake, carrot cake, red velvet cake, butterfly flaky cookies, and assorted pastries. I tried a square of flan with caramel sauce that was cool, creamy and delicious. The kids and adults go mad for the ice cream machine, serving up soft serve ice cream with all your favorite toppings to add.

New Grand Buffet hosts office luncheons and dinners, birthday parties for kids and adults as well as many other family events. Leave the cooking to them and you can’t beat the variety so there’s truly something for everyone here. New Grand Buffet is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. They accept credit cards and will deliver for free, with a $15 minimum. Have it your way at New Grand Buffet.
