Cops Hunt Steinway Street Burglar

By Liz Goff

Police officials last week released a surveillance photo (see photo) of a man wanted in connection with a break-in/robbery at a Steinway Street restaurant.

Cops said the suspect used the main entrance to break into the Riko Peruvian Cuisine Restaurant on Steinway Street and 36th Avenue at about 5 a.m. on December 5.

The thief swiped $100 in cash from the restaurant register and fled in an unknown direction, police said.
