Christ The King Valedictorian Accepts National Scholarship

Weeks will apply her scholarship towards attending Manhattan College, where she intends to major in engineering. The college’s School of Engineering earned national placement as one of the best in the undergraduate engineering category, according to U.S. News and World Report, as well as No. 17 in their 2013 edition of Best Colleges, Regional Universities (North). The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors who plan to major in engineering, technology or select design and business-related programs. Scholarships were awarded based on participation and leadership in the community and school activities, academic achievement and interest in the automotive industry. Christ the King’s senior class received more than $11 million in scholarships this academic year.
