Vallone ‘Hails’ Drivers At Livery Roundtable Summit

Vallone Jr. attended the Livery Roundtable’s Annual Summit in East Elmhurst, along with Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and Bronx Councilmember James Vacca.
During the event, Vallone expressed his support for livery drivers and voiced his opposition to any phone application which allows for pre-arranged pickups between yellow cabs and passengers. The councilmember also presented City Council citations to the evening’s honorees: Arthur Grover, president of the New York Fleet Owners Association; Jose Viloria, president of the New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers and the New Bell Car Service.
