Vallone Joins COBA To Cut Ribbon On New Satellite Office
On March 25, Councilmember Peter F. Vallone Jr. attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association’s new satellite office in East Elmhurst.
During the event, Vallone congratulated COBA on the opening, while also discussing community issues and concerns with President Norman Seabrook.
The office will be primarily used for officers stationed in Queens to receive legal help with various issues – such as purchasing a home – without having to travel to Manhattan.
“Queens appreciates all the great work COBA members do,” said Council Member Vallone. “Corrections Officers are an essential part of the system which keeps us all safe.”
