Queens Library Job Info Services Help Put Your Best Foot Forward

Queens Library has a broad range of free programs and services that help new job
seekers and those with a big investment in their careers take the next step.
Whether you are just learning how to turn on a computer, or seeking an advanced
technical certificate; whether you need a freshly-polished resume or need to
know where to look for your dream assignment; perhaps you are prepping for a
civil service exam or to go back to school, Queens Library is a great place to
start. All programs and services are free. Many are available in the evening or
on weekends, or from your own home.

Library users who are looking for work may be able to use library computers for
extended periods of time during "lab hours" in ten library locations. Find out
how to apply for a job online.  Learn QuickBooks accounting software, or become
certified in Microsoft Office products. A specially-trained library staffer will
review your work experience and help write a resume or suggest a great training
course.

It is all free and it starts with a phone call to 718-990-8625, or go to
www.queenslibrary.org/jobhelp.
