Councilmember Peter F. Vallone Jr. had lunch with children at the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens. Vallone and the kids enjoyed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, apples, carrots and chocolate milk. While they ate, the councilmember discussed the benefits of eating nutritiously. Children receive free lunches at the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens, which serves more than 200 kids a day.
