As of Monday, August 6, and continuing one night each week until Thursday, August 23, the city Department of Transportation Division of Bridges will be closing one lane on the Eastbound side of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway below Bulova Avenue for installation of protective underdeck shielding. The lane will be closed from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., leaving one lane open at those times.
