Dromm Graced With Fine-Art Photo By Jackson Heights Resident
Recently, local photographer Robert Mullen generously donated some of his artwork to grace the walls of Councilmember Daniel Dromm’s community office. A lifelong Jackson Heights resident, Mullen spent 49 years working in news media, including a 25-year stint at the New York Times. He also worked at the Herald Tribune, World Journal Tribune and New York Daily News. Now retired, Mullen spends his spare time photographing community events. Mullen presented Dromm with a print that is part of a set taken at the 2012 International Philadelphia Flower Show. Mullen remarked, “When you give a lady flowers, they only last a few weeks. My flowers are fresh forever.”
