QSAC Closes In On Goal

The Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC) celebrated a milestone on July 31, when its Vice President Paul Halvatzis and his “Shave the Stach” campaign reached the $25,000 mark. Vice President of The Daniel Group Real Estate Development Joseph Kohn presented Halvatzis at QSAC headquarters in Astoria with a check for $2,500 putting the fundraiser only $10,000 shy of the $35,000 goal. Halvatzis, who started the fundraiser last December, shaved his signature mustache, which he had for 35 years. His son Paul has autism.
