ADRIENNE PELLEGRINO, captain of team Angel's of Hope not only came in first place collecting a whopping $6,525.31 as an individual but her team Angel's of Hope also raised a total of $10,730.33.The seventh annual Relay For Life was held on June 23 and 24 at Astoria Park. The event hosted 180 participants and 37 teams. Adrienne Pellegrino of Astoria and captain of the team Angels of Hope came in first place collecting a total of $10,680.33. The overall collection for the American Cancer Society was $42,114. A ceremony was held at 10 p.m. memorializing all that are suffering with or have died from cancer. The top three teams at the event along with Angels of Hope included Seeds of Love and J-Rod the Ultimate Warrior.
