Recently, the students at the Variety Boys and Girls Club of Astoria showed off their artistic talents during their very own art exhibit. The instructors and their pupils spent many hours on their creations and thought it would be a great idea to put their hard work on display. Quontic Bank, located at 31-05 Broadway, supported the idea of the children hosting an art show and lent them the lobby of the bank for their grand opening. The event took place on June 21 and the theme of the exhibit was Poisson Papier Mache. Vice President and Regional Manager Michael Serao said that he witnessed many creative and fun pieces of art from some very talented young individuals. The exhibit encouraged the children to express themselves and showed them how to exercise all the creative muscles in their bodies.
