Congressmember Bob Turner released the following statement thanking outgoing City Department of Parks and Recreation Commissioner Adrian Benepe for his service to the city.
“Commissioner Benepe has served this city and its parks for 40 years in varying roles with numerous organizations. I have had the pleasure of working with him to maintain and enhance the quality of our parks. It is impossible not to notice his passion, dedication, and love for New York City’s natural and historic beauty when working with him. I would like to personally thank Commissioner Benepe for his service to New York City and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
