The Queens Gun Buyback Event in Jamaica concluded today. It took place at St. Benedict the Moor Church, 171-17 110th Ave., Jamaica. Fifty-five firearms were turned in, including 19 semi-automatic handguns, 35 revolvers and one rifle. Four of the firearms were loaded. Since the program’s inception, nearly 7,700 weapons have been recovered. Notable firearms included a defaced Tec-9 semi-automatic, a loaded Colt .45 semi-automatic, a .380 cal handgun painted blue.
