114th Precinct Crime Watch

Hunt Purse Snatcher
Police at the 114th Precinct are seeking help from the public to identify and locate a suspect sought in connection with a May 13 grand larceny purse snatching that occurred in the Dutch Kills section of Long Island City.
Police last week released a photo of the suspect, who was captured by surveillance video fleeing the scene of the larceny.
Cops said the suspect walked into the FL Young Discount Store at 39-24 24th St. at about 4 p.m. on May 13, where he grabbed the victim’s purse that contained cash and credit cards and fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old and approximately 225 to 250 pounds with black, “buzz-cut” hair. He was wearing a red hoodie and tan pants at the time of the incident, police said.

Hunt Queensbridge Shooters
Queens detectives are searching for two gunmen and a female accomplice in two separate shootings near the Queensbridge Houses in Long Island City.
Cops are seeking information on a gunman and his female accomplice in connection with a shooting on May 28 at Vernon Boulevard and 41st Avenue.
Police sources said the woman was spotted leaving a building at 40-05 Vernon Blvd. shortly after the shooting. The woman fled in a dark SUV that was parked nearby the housing project, the sources said.
Cops are also searching for a gunman who shot and wounded two men  near the Queensbridge Houses on the night of June 17.
Police said the gunman fired several times outside a building on Vernon Boulevard and 41st Avenue, striking a 40-year-old man in the foot and a 32-year-old man in the cheek.
The gunman fled in an unknown direction following the shootings.

The Hotline is offering a $2,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
