Mount Sinai Queens Executive Director Caryn A. Schwab. Mount Sinai Queens held their 13th annual celebration June 21. Awards were given to many hospital employees.

Vice President and COO Judy Trilivas presented the award for Manager of the Year to Chester Ostrowksi, Food and Nutrition Director. Executive Director Caryn A. Schwab presented Employee of the Year Deborah Guthrie-Aarons with an award and flowers.

Historically, the anniversary is the time when the hospital recognizes its employees for outstanding job performance. Awards were presented to winners of this year’s Employee Recognition Awards: Ostrowski, Guthrie-Aarons, Cristina Bayne was presented with Freshman of the Year, Perceverada Marmol was awarded Service Excellence, the Rehabilitation Medicine Department received the Team of Year award and Roxanna Jimenez was honored as Physician of the Year.

Guests were treated to cake commemorating 13 years as Mount Sinai Queens.
