The students of Most Precious Blood School (MPB), 32-52 37th St., Long Island City, are rewarded for their efforts in the arts and math. MPB’s Glee Club helped raise funds to pay for tickets to see the Disney musical, Newsies. The students took the train into Manhattan for a matinee show on June 7. Also of note, the third grade was honored for placing fourth in a Diocesan-wide math program for third and fourth graders called Mathletics. They did math problems online with other students in the diocese and around the world.
