On June 13, Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer joined Congressmember Joe Crowley to swear in new officers of the United Forties Civic Association in Sunnyside/Woodside. During the event, Van Bramer also honored local Sunnyside/Woodside residents for their service and dedication to the community.
