REO Speedwagon Plays Citi Field

Despite the 7 to 3 loss by the Mets to the Cincinnati Reds on June 15, fans at Citi Field still reserved some positive energy for REO Speedwagon. The group played their signature hits including “Take It On The Run” and “Can’t Fight This Feeling”. The first post-game concert in the stadium’s history was held from behind second base before a crowd of more than 25,000. REO Speedwagon front man Kevin Cronin, sporting a Mets warm-up jersey, is seen here jamming with band members Bruce Hall and Dave Amato. “This isn’t as historic as Shea Stadium,” Cronin said. “But Citi Field is pretty damn cool.”
