Fifth Annual Senior Olympics At Parker Jewish Institute
Residents participated in the fifth annual Senior Olympics at the Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation. Their age and health issues might have slowed their pace, but not their competitive spirit or joy of life. Parker’s Olympians performed with great pride, whether in the Parade of Olympiads, the Lighting of the Olympic Torch, the games—including bowling, basketball and putting green golf, or the Olympic banner crafted by residents. Parker’s Senior Olympics is made possible by the support of Ben Dickstein, great grandson of Norma and Jack Parker.
