On June 9, a group of more than 30 confirmation students and their parents from Blessed Sacrament Church in Jackson Heights joined Councilmember Daniel Dromm for a clean-up of the 37th Road Plaza and all of the surrounding streets in the lower 70s from Roosevelt to 37th Avenue. The group worked for more than three hours sweeping the streets, removing illegal posters and cleaning out tree pits.
