Queens Celebrates Flag Day


The Sunnyside Kiwanis Club’s 43rd Annual Flag Day Celebration was held at Sabba Park at Queens Boulevard and 49th Street on June 9. The parade was founded by the late Joseph Sabba. Students from elementary school P.S. 199, members of the Republic of Korea- United States Armed Forces Foundation and the New York Police Department Marching Band were in attendance along with hundreds of area supporters.
